The Sure Signs:

· Now experiencing – Tsunami, Land slides, Earthquakes, Forest Fires, Floods, Cyclones etc.

[Yusufali 52:6] And by the Ocean filled with Swell;-

[Yusufali 52:9] On the Day when the firmament will be in dreadful commotion.

[Yusufali 52:10] And the mountains will fly hither and thither.

75:7-At length when the Sight is dazed 5815

75:8-And the moon is buried in darkness. 5816

75:9-And the sun and moon are joined together 5817

75:10-That Day will Man say "Where is the refuge?"

[Yusufali 52:8] There is none can avert it;

· That Day will be a Day of Woe to the wrongdoers described in two aspects, the rebels against Allah and Allah’s Truth, just as it will be a Day of Joy and Thanksgiving to the Righteous, who are described in three aspects in verses 17 -28. The rebels are here described as being those who openly defied Truth and plunged into wrong-doing, or who trifled with Truth, who jested with serious matters, who had not the courage to plunge openly into wrong-doing but who secretly took profit out of it, who wasted their life in doubts and petty quibbles. It is difficult to say which attitude did more harm to themselves and to others. Both are aspects of deep seated rebellion. But the mercy of Allah was open to all if they had repented and amended their lives.

Lets WAKE UP!

Brothers and sisters, it is time to wake up. Allah did not put us here to get that illusive degree, that classy car, that great house, that beautiful wife, that perfect husband, those great kids. These are all distraction from the true goal. "O ye who believe! Let not your wealth nor your children distract you from remembrance of Allah.

Those who do so, they are the losers." (63:9) We are here to worship Allah. his life is not supposed to be easy or perfect. This life is our prison, if we are true believers.

We are supposed to be building an escape tunnel with our deeds and our faith. Instead we are asleep in front of the TV, smelling of nachos and fear while scenes of our brothers' and sisters' extermination flash across the screen.

Islam is not easy. It is not hard. It is a religion that takes effort, commitment and belief. We have a great reward but also we have a great responsibility. What will we say to Allah when He questions us about our life in this world? What will we say to Allah when He questions us about our brothers and sisters in Kosovo, Somalia, Sudan, Kashmir, Palestine, Bosnia, Algeria, Ethiopia, Lebanon, India, Sri Lanka etc.....

May Allah, Praised and Exalted be He, guide us to His Way, and may He, Praised and Exalted be He, make us eligible for His pleasure, and may He, Praised and Exalted be He, make us worthy of carrying the message of His religion, and worthy of being the followers of His Prophet Mohammed, Peace and Blessing be upon him.
