Ibn al-Khattab's Nice Concise Advices |
The Martyred Commander, Ibn al-Khattab's Nice Concise Advices, found in his will, which was released by his brother Maaher.
1) Do not make the one who does not befriend you, an enemy to you.
2) Do not involve yourself in peoples personal matters, except to better them.
3) Fighting is [only] with the clear kufr.
4) Jihaad cannot be established anywhere, except if its people adopt it [as a way].
5) Always consult the noble scholars, and the people of widsom, and the people of experience, and avoid personal ijtihaad before any action.
6) Read about your enemy, and do not underestimate him, and always examine his reaction, firstly.
7) Use the principle of surprising [the enemy], and take advantage of his weaknesses.
8) Seek help from the people of power, then your friends; after making reasonable preparation.
9) Avoid partisanship, and sectarianism, and follow the sunnah and leave alone extremism and work to give victory to this deen.
